Carnie Wilson has gone under the?knife again in an effort to lose weight, as People magazine is reporting that the singer had lap-band surgery on Jan. 18.
Wilson lost 150 pounds after gastric bypass surgery 12 years ago, People reports, and has shed 30 pounds so far this time.
"It was the right decision for me and I'm doing really well so far," Wilson tells People. "It's all about taking good care of myself."
Wilson told the magazine in 2010 that having children -- daughters Lola, 6, and Luciana, 2 -- "derailed" her a bit and?that she has struggled to lose post-pregnancy pounds.
Gastric bypass reduces the size of the stomach and allows food to bypass part of the small intestine. In the?lap-band procedure, a silicone band is placed around the stomach to create a pouch the size of a golf ball.
Wilson has a new album and new reality show coming with?Wilson Phillips in April.
